What's New with the Darien Lions Club
On Feb. 7th several members of the Darien Lions Club, volunteered at “Feed My Starving Children” in Aurora, IL. They packed up hundreds of nutritional Rice Mannapacks that will be distributed around the world where in need.
Another event where the “We Serve” motto is put into action. Afterward, we gathered for our own “nutritional” dinner of pizza, beverages, & camaraderie to celebrate our good deed as Lions.
About Us
Our Background
We meet twice each month from September through June. One meeting is a business meeting, and the other is a dinner meeting that features a guest speaker. Four of our dinner meetings are semi-formals which wives/significant-others attend. Although we are serious in our work, we always manage to have a little fun as well.
