The Darien Lions Club invites the Darien area youths to attend our annual Halloween Party, to be held at the Darien Sportsplex on Halloween night, Monday, October 31st from 6:30-8:45pm. Each year more than 1,300 children and 500 ice skaters come out and enjoy a safe and fun-filled Halloween evening, complete with our famous "graveyard," games, a magician, and entertainment galore. Event Chairman - Lion Danny Maddox says: "We're happy to host this party to provide a safe Halloween environment where kids of all ages can have a lot of fun. And, as in the past, there is no charge to attend this event." The City of Darien will again be providing free rides which serves to help relieve any parking congestion at the Sportsplex. The kids love to ride the trolley and there are two nearby pickup locations: the Darien Public Library and at Ashton Place. What a great way to start the evening.
The Darien Lions are most fortunate to provide this party due to the generosity of our Darien area residents, and also because of the generosity of various businesses in our community - through their donations. Some of our sponsors and partners for this event are:
If your means allow, a donation can for our Candy Day fundraiser will also be available and any donations are certainly appreciated. Home | About Us | Events | News | Local Links |
