President Ray Krusinski's Update

Dear fellow Lions,

We look forward to the new Club year with a new form of Hope...a new form of Pride.  The last twelve months following the unimaginable events of 9/11 have caused us all to take a new look at almost everything we do in our lives.  We have embraced what is most important to us...our families...our friends...our community...our traditions...our service to our fellow man.

We have seen that a diversified group of men can band together and, with the guidance of Lionism, can truly live up to the Lions motto -- "We Serve."  You should all be proud of what you, as Darien Lions, accomplished during the last twelve months.

My hope for the coming year is that you all get to experience "A Lion's Pride."  The satisfaction, or PRIDE, of a job well done.  And the feeling of family, a Pride of Lions.

With your help, the 2002-2003 Darien Lions club year will be a great one.  How can it be anything but?
