2011-12 COMMUNITY AND HUMANITARIAN DONATIONS

The administrative costs of our Club are paid for by our members.  All of the monies generated by the Darien Lions Club fundraisers such as our 'Big Raffle' and 'Candy Day' are donated to humanitarian needs, mostly in our local and surrounding communities.   None of our members are paid for what we do.  True to our motto 'We serve'. 

The focus of our help is toward providing aid to the hearing and sight impaired. 

During the past year, the Darien Lions Club made the following donations:

These are some of the donations that were made during the 2011-2012 club year. 

Many times we are thanked either personally or through thoughtfully worded cards and letters.  We're sure the recipients of these donations appreciate our support.  It certainly would not have been possible without the help of your donations. 

Whether you bought a roll of Lions candy using spare change on Candy Day, or you are a regular donor like so many of the wonderful businesses of our community, the Darien Lions wish to thank you for your generosity.
