On June 29th, Lion Kris Sant and his
family hosted a picnic for the visually handicapped persons support
group of the DuPage Center for Independent Living. This picnic has
been hosted by them for the past four years.
This group has enjoyed coming and
walking around the Darien Community park and looks forward this
activity every year.
This year Lion Kris presented a check
in the amount of $250.00 from the Darien Lions Club to Mr. Ray
Campbell, Director of Blind & Deaf Activities at DCIL. The
group was most appreciative and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
