The Darien Lions Club sponsors the 4th of July Parade for the enjoyment of all Darien residents and visitors. 
This year's event will be held on Monday, July 4th, 2012.

Starting at 9:30am from the north side of Hinsdale South High School on Clarendon Hills Road the parade heads north to Plainfield Road, The parade then heads southwest to 75th Street, then west past Cass Avenue ending at Eisenhower Jr. High School.    

Announcers will be on hand to describe all of the Parade's entries at the main reviewing stand, and trophies are presented to the winning entries.

On behalf of the Darien Lions Club, I’m pleased to invite you to participate in our 41st annual Independence Day Parade. 

 

Parade entrants will assemble near Hinsdale South High School beginning at 8:15am for the Parade lineup.  The Parade will begin promptly at 9:30am.

All entrants must complete and submit the attached Parade Application and Parade Rules forms.  The forms can be downloaded from the following links:

Please complete all information and return it via email (complete and return the Word documents), fax,or USPS.
In order to minimize postage costs, we prefer to use email to the maximum extent possible.

You will be contacted at a later date with information regarding where to report on Parade Day.

Please note: It will be the responsibility of each participant to provide their own vehicle for the Parade.  Signs for vehicles will be provided only for officials from the City of Darien and Lions Club Honorees.  All other participants are expected to provide signage for their own entry.

Please also revisit our website periodically for information updates.

This year we are also asking for VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS
to help offset our Parade costs.
