In 2000, the Darien Lions Foundation was
established as a separate not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization under Section
501(C)(3) of the IRS Tax Code. The Foundation's
charter is to provide financial assistance towards eyeglasses, hearing
aids, and scholarships for those in need.
The Darien Lions established the Foundation so we could have a vehicle
to accept tax-free donations and grants from individuals,
corporations, and other organizations, in accordance with the
Foundation's charter. Our near-term goal is to build an
investment reserve sufficient to fund these programs in perpetuity.
The Darien Lions Club Foundation, in
association with the Darien Lions Club and the Darien Park District, is proud to announce the
Recognition Brick Patio Program, to be located in the Darien
Community Park at Plainfield and Clarendon Hills Roads.
A donation of $100 (4"
x 8" brick with max 3 lines) or $150
(8" x 8" with max 5 lines) will entitle you to a beautifully engraved
Brick with your personal message set in a spacious patio for all to
see and enjoy. Take advantage of this special opportunity to give
a timeless gift to your family or loved one, or a personalized
recognition for outstanding achievement.
Bricks will be placed in
the patio after every group of thirty is purchased. Please encourage
