The New Member Achievement Award was instituted in 2004 to give special recognition to a member with five or fewer years of membership for outstanding contributions to the Club.
Lion Adam Retzler is our 2006-07 New Member Achievement Award winner.
Lion Wayne became a Darien Lion in October, 1999. Since that time, he has chaired and worked on many committees, sponsored new members, and served on the Board of Directors. A six-year resident of Darien, he and his wife of 30 years have three children. He has been an employee of the U. S. Government for over 30 years.
